Nathy Placencio, affectionately known as ‘‘Nathy Blue”, has been enthralled by art, fashion, and beauty since her childhood, always inspired by her Mom & Grandma style, in the Dominican Republic. At just 8 years old, she began honing her artistic skills at Bella’s Artes, where her affinity for blue hues earned her the nickname that would become her artistic moniker. As she grew, Nathy’s passion for fashion took center stage in 2001 at LAIE, followed by an exploration of makeup artistry and plus size modeling at Barbizon Schools.

Her DIY ethos led her to craft custom hair dyes and products, including her signature blue highlights, prompting her to study chemistry with the stemmed Professor Barett. Nathy’s entrepreneurial spirit flourished as she developed a body care line, supplying top-notch jacuzzi foaming soap to hotels and spas. Now as the founder of NIRVANIC BEAUTY, Nathy Blue brings her creative vision to life in the United States and planning to expand to her lovely Land, The Dominican Republic.
